500 g pork butter (or lard)
Fresh or dried lantern leaves, chopped
200–300 g beeswax
Instructions:
Melt the pork butter in a double boiler or slow heat.
Add the chopped lantern leaves and let sit at 60°C for 4 hours.
Let the mixture rest until the next day.
Add beeswax, melt, and mix thoroughly.
Pour into jars and store in a cool place.
Usage: Apply to joints, sore bones, and skin wounds.
How to Prepare Natural Disinfection:
Infuse lantern leaves in alcohol or liquorice.
Use as a mouthwash for gums and throat or as a wound disinfectant.
Dilute in distilled water for a facial tonic, ideal for acne, burns, or stings.
