Instructions:
Wash fresh leaves.
Place them in a jar, layering with sugar until the jar is filled.
Press firmly and cover.
Wrap the jar and bury in a shady spot for 8 weeks.
Peel leaves over time to extract a dark, thick syrup.
Store in the fridge for up to 1 year.
