Stovetop No-Oven Milk Bread: Soft, Fluffy, and Unbelievably Good!

In a large bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, sugar, and oil. Stir well and let the yeast activate for 5 minutes.

Gradually add flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.

Knead

Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes until soft and elastic.

First Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Shape

Divide dough into equal portions and shape into round balls or flat discs, depending on your preference.

Cook on Stovetop

Heat a nonstick pan or skillet over medium-low heat.

Place one dough ball/disc in the pan and cover with a lid. Cook for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and puffed.

Repeat with the rest of the dough.
