Steak and Eggs Skillet: A Hearty, Protein-Packed Breakfast

Prepare the Steak: Season both sides of the steak generously with salt and pepper. Let it sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes.

Cook the Vegetables: Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until tender. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, increase heat to medium-high. Add the steak and cook for 3–5 minutes per side (depending on thickness and desired doneness). Remove steak and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Cook the Eggs: Reduce heat to medium. Crack eggs into the skillet and cook to your preferred style (sunny-side-up, over-easy, or scrambled). Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
