In a bowl, combine the beef slices with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, Shaoxing wine, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it marinate for 15–20 minutes to enhance flavor and tenderness.
2. Prepare the Onions and Aromatics
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the onion wedges and stir-fry until slightly softened and beginning to caramelize, about 3–4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
3. Stir-Fry the Beef
Add the remaining vegetable oil to the same skillet. Add the garlic and ginger, stirring for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned and just cooked through, about 3–5 minutes.
