Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cook the Sausage:
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned. Drain excess fat and let it cool slightly.
Mix the Filling:
In a bowl, combine the cooked sausage with cream cheese. Add optional cheddar cheese or seasonings if desired. Mix until smooth.
Prepare the Crescent Dough:
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles.
Fill and Roll:
Place a spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the tip, forming a crescent shape.
Bake:
Place crescents on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.
