In a small bowl, mix milk, yeast, sugar, and water. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.
Make the Dough:
In a large bowl, combine flour and eggs. Add the yeast mixture and cooking oil. Knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
Shape the Milk Sticks:
Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into stick shapes (about 4–5 inches long).
Second Rise:
Place the sticks on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Let them rest for 15–20 minutes.
Bake:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake the sticks for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and crispy outside.
Cool and Serve:
Let the milk sticks cool slightly before serving. Perfect as a snack or alongside a glass of milk.
