Hearty Penne Pasta with Cheesy Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, cheddar cheese, Knorrox seasoning, and olive oil.

Mix until evenly combined, then shape into medium-sized balls.

Cook the Meatballs:

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Brown the meatballs on all sides for about 5 minutes.

Remove from the pan and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

In the same pan, heat 2 tbsp olive oil. Sauté onion and garlic until soft and fragrant.

Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Simmer the Meatballs in Sauce:

Add the browned meatballs to the sauce. Cover and simmer for 15–20 minutes until fully cooked.

Cook the Pasta:

Meanwhile, cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Combine and Serve:

Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and meatballs.

Top with grated cheese and fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot.
