Wash the okra pods and slice off the ends. Slice them into small pieces.
Peel the garlic cloves and crush or chop them finely.
Boil the water, then remove from heat. Add garlic and okra to the water.
Let the mixture steep for 15–20 minutes to release the beneficial compounds.
Strain the drink and consume it warm, ideally on an empty stomach in the morning.
Optional: add lemon or honey to improve flavor.
