Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.

Add the halved potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and tender.

Remove potatoes from the skillet and set aside.

2. Cook the Steaks

Pat the steaks dry and season generously with salt and black pepper.

In the same skillet, melt 2 tbsp butter over medium-high heat.

Add steaks and cook 3–5 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.

3. Make Garlic Butter Sauce

Reduce heat to medium, add remaining 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic.

Sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, then stir in thyme or rosemary if using.

4. Combine and Serve
