Easy Baked Pepperoni and Cheese Calzone

Step 1 – Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2 – Prepare the Dough

Lightly flour your work surface.

Divide pizza dough into 4 equal portions.

Roll each portion into a circle, about 8 inches in diameter.

Step 3 – Add the Filling

Spread a couple of tablespoons of pizza sauce on one half of each dough circle, leaving a border around the edge.

Layer with shredded mozzarella, pepperoni, and any additional fillings.

Step 4 – Fold and Seal

Fold the dough over to cover the filling and form a half-moon shape.

Press the edges firmly with a fork to seal completely.

Step 5 – Egg Wash and Bake

Brush the top of each calzone with beaten egg for a golden, glossy finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Step 6 – Serve

Let cool for 2–3 minutes before serving.

Serve with extra pizza sauce or marinara for dipping.
