Decadent Double Crust Cheesecake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt.

Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Add the egg and vanilla, mixing until a dough forms.

Divide the dough in half. Roll out one half and press into the bottom of a greased 9-inch springform pan to form the bottom crust.
