Prepare the German chocolate cake according to the instructions on the box. Bake until fully cooked and allow to cool slightly.
Poke the Cake:
Using a fork, skewer, or straw, poke holes all over the top of the warm cake.
Add Sweetened Condensed Milk:
Slowly pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, letting it seep into the holes for maximum moistness.
Chill:
Refrigerate the cake completely to set.
Top & Serve:
Spread Cool Whip over the cooled cake. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle crushed Heath bars generously on top.
