Cheesy Garlic Cruffin: Flaky, Gooey, and Irresistible

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Prepare the Puff Pastry

Roll out the puff pastry sheet slightly on a lightly floured surface. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle minced garlic evenly.

3. Add Cheese

Evenly distribute the shredded mozzarella over the garlic butter layer. Sprinkle with a little salt, pepper, and dried parsley if using.

4. Shape the Cruffin

Fold the puff pastry sheet in half lengthwise. Cut into 2-inch wide strips, then twist each strip a few times. Coil each twist into a muffin-like shape and place on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Egg Wash

Brush each coiled cruffin with beaten egg for a golden finish.

6. Bake

Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. Cheese should be melted and slightly oozing.

7. Serve

Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm for the best gooey experience.
