Cajun Blackened Salmon & Shrimp Over Garlic Rice

Prep & Season the Seafood

Pat salmon and shrimp dry.

Rub with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Make the Garlic Rice

In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Sauté garlic until golden (~1 minute).

Stir into warm cooked rice, season with salt, and sprinkle with parsley.

Sear the Salmon

Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear salmon skin-side up for ~4 minutes, flip, and cook 3–4 minutes more.

Remove from skillet and keep warm.

Cook the Shrimp & Glaze

In the same pan, sauté shrimp 2–3 minutes until opaque.

Add honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic.

Cook 1–2 more minutes until shrimp are coated and sauce slightly thickens.

Assemble the Dish

Plate garlic rice.

Top with seared salmon and glazed shrimp.

Drizzle with pan sauce and garnish with chopped parsley or green onions.
