Step 1 – Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Lay out two large pieces of aluminum foil.
Place salmon fillet in the center of each piece.
Arrange asparagus around the salmon.

In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
Drizzle the sauce evenly over the salmon and asparagus.
Step 4 – Seal and Bake
Fold foil over the salmon and asparagus to create a sealed packet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15–20 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Step 5 – Serve
Carefully open the foil packets and transfer salmon and asparagus to plates.
Spoon any extra sauce from the packet over the top and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
