Peel the onions and cut off the ends.
Hollow out the center, leaving about ½-inch thick walls, creating a cavity for the filling.
2. Cook the Ground Beef
Season ground beef with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
Cook in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
3. Stuff the Onions
Spoon cooked ground beef into the hollowed-out onions.
Top each with a generous amount of shredded cheddar cheese.
4. Wrap with Bacon
Wrap each stuffed onion with a slice of bacon, securing with toothpicks if needed.
5. Bake
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Place bacon-wrapped onions on a lined baking sheet.
Bake 25–30 minutes, or until bacon is crispy and cheese is melted.
