Burnt-on food and stains on your pans can be frustrating, but you don’t have to toss them. With a few common household ingredients, you can bring your pans back to life.
Method 1: Baking Soda and Water (Gentle & Effective)
Sprinkle a generous layer of baking soda over the burnt area.
Add a few tablespoons of water to make a paste.
Let it sit for 15–30 minutes.
Scrub gently with a non-abrasive sponge or cloth.
Rinse thoroughly and wash as usual.
Method 2: Boiling Vinegar and Water (For Stubborn Burnt Marks)
Fill the pan with equal parts water and white vinegar.
Bring it to a gentle boil for 5–10 minutes.
Remove from heat and sprinkle baking soda while still warm (it will fizz).
Let it cool, then scrub away the loosened burnt bits.
Wash with dish soap and water.
