Propagating a Branch into a Seedling Using Just Water

You’ll Need:

A healthy branch or cutting from a plant (ideally 4–6 inches long)

A glass or jar of clean water

Steps:

Cut the Branch: Take a healthy branch with at least 2–3 leaves. Make a clean cut just below a node (the point where leaves grow).

Place in Water: Submerge the cut end in a glass or jar of water. Ensure the leaves don’t touch the water to prevent rot.

Provide Light: Put the jar in a bright spot with indirect sunlight.
