1 cup white vinegar
1 gallon warm water
1 tablespoon baking soda
10–15 drops essential oil (optional; lemon, lavender, or tea tree for fragrance and added antibacterial properties)
Instructions
Prepare the Mixture:
In a large bucket, combine warm water and baking soda, stirring until dissolved.
Add white vinegar slowly (it will fizz a little).
Optional: Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil for a pleasant scent.
Mop the Floor:
Dip your mop into the solution, wring out excess liquid, and mop the floor as usual.
For stubborn spots, dip a cloth in the mixture and scrub gently.
Rinse (Optional):
Most floors don’t need rinsing, but you can go over them with clean water if desired.
