Cream Cheese Stuffed Banana Bread: A Twist of Cheesecake in Every Slice

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.

Prepare Bread Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, brown sugar, white sugar, and oil until smooth. Stir in mashed bananas and vanilla extract. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Prepare Cream Cheese Filling: In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth.

Assemble: Pour half of the banana bread batter into the loaf pan. Carefully spread the cream cheese mixture over the batter, leaving a small border around the edges. Pour the remaining batter on top and smooth the surface.

Bake: Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the bread (not the cream cheese) comes out clean. If the top starts browning too quickly, cover loosely with foil.

Cool and Slice: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
