Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Prepare Brownie Layer:
In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined.
Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until smooth.
Prepare Cream Cheese Layer:
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined.
Assemble Brownies:
Spread half of the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pan.
Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
Dollop the remaining brownie batter on top and gently swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the brownie portion comes out with a few moist crumbs (the cream cheese layer may remain slightly soft).
Cool & Serve: Allow to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares. Serve and enjoy!
✅ Tips:
For extra flavor, add chocolate chips or chopped nuts to the brownie batter.
Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before slicing for cleaner cuts.
