Cheesesteak-Stuffed Garlic Bread

Prepare the Cheesesteak Filling

Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add onions (and bell peppers, if using) and sauté until softened, about 3–4 minutes.

Add the sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until just browned, about 3–5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Stir in the shredded cheese while the mixture is still hot so it melts evenly.

Prepare the Garlic Bread

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the loaf lengthwise, leaving a hinge on one side, and scoop out some of the soft bread to create a cavity for the filling.

Mix softened butter with minced garlic and parsley, then spread evenly on the inside of the bread.

Assemble and Bake

Spoon the cheesesteak mixture into the hollowed bread.

Close the loaf slightly and wrap it in aluminum foil.

Bake for 15–20 minutes, then unwrap and bake an additional 5 minutes to crisp the top.

Serve

Slice the stuffed loaf into portions and serve warm. Perfect alongside a simple salad or as a stand-alone indulgence.
