Baked Salmon with Creamy Spinach Sauce

Ingredients (Serves 2–3)
For the Salmon:

2–3 salmon fillets (150–200 g / 5–7 oz each)

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt & pepper, to taste

½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)

1 lemon, sliced for garnish

For the Creamy Spinach Sauce:

2 cups fresh spinach, washed and chopped

1 tbsp butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

½ cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for lighter version)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt & pepper, to taste

Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
