Sprinkle Baking Soda
Dust baking soda over the area where you applied the vinegar/lemon.
This creates a mild fizzing reaction that helps break down the rust.
Scrub with Aluminum Foil
Crumple a piece of aluminum foil into a ball.
Use it to scrub the rusted surface gently. The foil is softer than metal, so it won’t scratch but will effectively remove rust.
