Prepare the Apples: Wash, core, and slice the apples thinly (about 1/8 inch) using a mandoline or a sharp knife.
Prevent Browning: Toss the apple slices with lemon juice in a large bowl.
Make Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon.
Coat the Apples: Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over the apple slices, tossing gently to coat evenly.
Preheat Air Fryer: Set the air fryer to 300°F (150°C) and preheat for 3 minutes.
Arrange & Cook: Place apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed. Air fry for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crisp. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
Cool & Enjoy: Remove the chips and let them cool completely—they will crisp up further as they cool.
Tips:
Use thin, uniform slices for even cooking.
Store cooled chips in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
For a sweeter touch, sprinkle a little extra cinnamon sugar right after cooking.
