1. Remove and Shake Out Dirt
Take the mats out of your car.
Shake them vigorously to remove loose dirt, crumbs, and debris.
For stubborn dust, use a handheld vacuum to get into the grooves.
2. Pre-Treat Stains
Identify spots with stains, oil, or mud.
Apply a carpet or fabric cleaner for cloth mats, or a mild soap solution for rubber mats.
Let the solution sit for 5–10 minutes to loosen grime.
3. Scrub and Wash
For cloth mats: Use a soft brush to scrub in circular motions, focusing on heavily soiled areas.
For rubber mats: Use a stiff brush or sponge to scrub with soapy water.
Avoid harsh chemicals that can damage the mat material.
4. Rinse Thoroughly
